I’ve signed up for a charity skydive — something completely outside my comfort zone — because some causes are worth being scared for.

This charity does work that genuinely matters, and I wanted to do more than just care quietly from the sidelines; I wanted to take action in a way that really counts. For a few minutes, I’ll be facing fear by choice, with training, equipment, and support. The people helped by this charity often face far greater challenges without any of those protections when I think about that the nerves feel like a small price to pay.

I’m also doing this to set an example – to myself and to my children – that bravery doesn’t mean being fearless. It means doing something even when your knees are shaking and you're terrified, because the reason behind it is bigger than the fear itself. I want to show that people can do extraordinary things when they decide to act with purpose. If I can show them that it’s okay to be nervous, to stretch yourself, and to stand up for something you believe in, then this jump will mean even more.

By supporting my skydive, you’re helping fund vital work, raise awareness, and make a real difference. Every donation, big or small, truly matters and helps this charity continue to support those who need it most.

Thank you for supporting me, cheering me on, and helping turn one very scary leap into something genuinely positive.
