I’m taking part in a 255 mile London to Paris cycle ride on June 18th - 20th to raise funds for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Together, we can help fund vital support for families affected by dementia.

My goal is to raise £2,500 – and The Access Group matches every pound donated, doubling the impact of your donation. Every pound donated goes directly to the charity.

Today, nearly 1 million people in the UK are living with dementia. 1 in 2 of us will be affected by it in our lifetime – whether by caring for someone with the diagnosis, developing it ourselves, or both. It’s the biggest health and social challenge of our time. Dementia UK's Admiral Nurses, provide expert, compassionate advice and support to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.

Here’s what your support could help provide: £4 could pay for the telephone costs of one family calling the Helpline for free to get the support they need. £10 could help 10 families find out more about dementia and how to get a diagnosis for a loved one through funding information and advice leaflets. £25 could pay for a carer to receive an hour of one-to-one support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse on the free Helpline
