200km Across the Moors & the Coast Donate This May I’ll be taking on a 200km cycling challenge across the North York Moors and along the Yorkshire Coast to raise funds for Dementia UK — a cause that provides vital support to families facing one of life’s most difficult journeys.Dementia affects not only the person diagnosed, but also their loved ones, often leaving families feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn. Dementia UK exists to change that. Through their specialist Admiral Nurses, the charity offers expert clinical guidance, practical advice, and emotional support from diagnosis through to end of life, helping families navigate complex decisions and feel less alone. This ride will be physically demanding, with long climbs and exposed roads across the Moors before reaching the coast, but it’s a small challenge compared to the daily realities faced by those living with dementia and those who care for them.As Charity of the Year, every pound raised will be matched by Access, doubling the impact of each donation. Your support will help ensure more families can access the specialist care and reassurance they need, when they need it most. Thank you for supporting the ride and this incredible charity.
