What a feeling to fly Donate This year, to mark my 60th birthday, I’ve decided to do something I’ve always wanted to do – a skydive! On Friday 24th April, I’ll be taking the leap through my work, The Access Group, in support of a cause that means a great deal to me.We’re raising money for dementia research – a charity that feels especially important to me as an old friend of mine, who is younger than me, is living with this devastating illness. Dementia is a cruel and frightening disease. It not only affects the person diagnosed, but also deeply impacts their family and friends who watch someone they care about gradually change.I would love to raise as much as possible to help fund vital research into this terrible condition and bring hope to those affected. I need to raise £395 by 10th April, and the amazing news is that The Access Group will match every pound donated – doubling the impact of your support. If you’re able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean a great deal to me – and even more to the people and families facing dementia every day.Thank you so much for your support. Now all I have to do is jump! Caroline Lawler
