This year I am taking on a 25k walk, taking in all the sights of the Monopoly board, to raise vital funds for the Access Group's Charity of the Year, Dementia UK.

Dementia UK's vision is a world where no one faces dementia alone - where everyone gets the specialist support they need. Their life-changing support is there for everyone affected by dementia. Their dementia specialist nurses give expert compassionate support and advice via their helpline, clinics, in hospitals, in the community and other health and care settings.

Dementia UK work alongside people affected by dementia to constantly improve the health and care systems they rely on. They use their clinical knowledge to influence public policy and service delivery, carry out vital research into dementia care, promote better awareness and understanding of dementia, and campaign for change across the UK.
