I'm jumping out of a plane because I love the rush but more importantly, because a few minutes of my adrenaline can fund hours of support for someone living with dementia.
I don't have a personal connection to dementia, but I've watched enough families around me navigate it to know the impact is real and relentless. For me, this is about finding ways to give back, even when the cause isn't directly linked to me.
Dementia impacts so many people and families, and therefore we should all show our willingness to help. A minute of free fall feels like a fair trade for making a difference to someone's care, dignity, and quality of life. Sam Platt
