I'm raising funds for Dementia UK, the specialist charity whose Admiral Nurses provide expert, compassionate support to families navigating one of the hardest experiences there is — free of charge, whenever it's needed.

Here's the part that makes your donation work even harder: The Access Group will match every pound I raise, doubling your impact from the moment you give. My target between online and offline is to raise £2,500 — but with matched funding, that becomes £5,000 for Dementia UK.

The scale of this condition is hard to overstate. Nearly 1 million people in the UK are living with dementia today, and 1 in 2 of us will be personally affected in our lifetime, as a carer, as someone who receives a diagnosis, or both. Too many families face it without adequate support. That's what I'm riding for.

£10 helps 10 families access information and advice leaflets on dementia and diagnosis
£25 funds an hour of one-to-one support from an Admiral Nurse on the free Helpline
