Pretty much every one of us knows somebody affected by dementia. I've got first hand experience of this, and have seen the toll it takes on both the individual and those close to them.

I hope that riding my bike 205 kilometres from our office in London to our head office in Loughborough inside a single working day is enough of a challenge to get people to dig deep!

On Thursday 7th August, I plan to set out from 8 Bishopsgate at 9AM, and get to Access HQ by 5:30PM. It will be tight (I'll need to cover the distance, including 1,800 metres of elevation, at an average speed of around 28k/h - factoring in a lunch stop somewhere along the way) but having your support will make a world of difference as I'm suffering along the way.

During the ride, I'll enable live tracking, so you can monitor my progress - and send me encouragement along the way (or criticise my pace as I fall behind schedule... 😏)
