In June I will be walking part of the Camino Frances (the French Way) pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago. I'm taking part with colleagues from work and we're walking in aid of Dementia UK. It's a 67km route through rolling green landscapes, traditional villages and picturesque woodland and ending the adventure in Santiago Old Town which is home to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

Why am I doing this? Because Dementia affects so many people and is such a devastating syndrome for so many. I have not yet been directly impacted by Dementia but my friends have, and I have my own concerns about personally developing Dementia in my later years.

We have an ambitious fundraising target so every donation will help with the work towards and cure and to support those caring for sufferers.

On with my walking shoes to train for the privilege of doing this walk for such a worthy cause!!

Your support is invaluable and appreciated.

Regards
Lindsay
